Digital Archiving & Preservation Policy

Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat (JPM)

Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat (JPM) ensures the long-term digital preservation and continuous availability of all published articles. To guarantee that scientific content remains accessible to the academic and public communities indefinitely, JPM employs a multi-tiered archiving and preservation strategy.

1 PKP PN & Digital Archiving Networks

JPM utilizes international decentralized archiving networks to prevent data loss in the event of server failures or unforeseen technical disruptions.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Provides free preservation services for any OJS journal that meets basic criteria, ensuring digital content is preserved across multiple global nodes.

2 National Repositories & Indexing Systems

All published issues and metadata are regularly deposited into national scholarly databases to maximize accessibility and index stability. See Journal Index.

3Self-Archiving Policy

  • Author Self-Archiving: Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version (Publisher's PDF) of their articles in personal, institutional, or scholarly repositories (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, institutional repositories) immediately after publication, provided proper attribution and official DOI links are cited.
